Fallen So Deeply

Fallen So Deeply

A Poem by ashweejune

Rose petals fall onto the ground

Memories of us surround the empty spaces

Feelings lost

Feelings grown

Under the stars I wait

Wishing, hoping, pleading for you

But you do not come

For I am alone

My tears are wiped by my own hand

Not yours

My body shakes and I must calm myself down

Not you

I scream in pain and drop to my knees

You are not there to catch me

I have fallen so deep

I have tried so hard

But in the end one thing is for certain

I’m still in love you with you

Under the Stairs
