I have walked the line on a broken path,

in loves aftermath

I've been muted by love, consumed in it's glow

The never ending flow,

my heart swells, bursting

Thirsting for something I have not found or have lost

And tossed aside leaving a scar that cannot be erased

But I have been misplaced

On a detour longer than most with the ghost of who I once was

Who have I become....

a because, a reason to leave, a reason to forget, a reason to let go

I've lost my way more than once
