Back Again

It's like they're back
Like all those memories you wanted gone
Are now coming back to haunt you.
They want to win you over
They want you to give up and let them win
But you have to tell them, no
That you are stronger than they are
That you aren't giving into them
Just tell them no.

They won't disappear unless you tell them
If you don't let them know
Then it will get stronger
Until they can't take over you anymore
Until you are unable to talk to anyone
Even ones close to you
All you'll want to do is hide
Never to come out and be seen again
To give up and give in to the past.

You have to tell them no
Tell them to leave you alone
To stop taking over you at night
To let you sleep for a full night
To allow you to be yourself
To be happy
Tell your head,
NO
