Fate wins

There are some things you just don't understand
Questions that remained unanswered for so long
And feelings that are always kept hanging

I went through the battle of love
I said we have to win
Because I know love never fails
Even prophecies will fail
Tounges will cease
And knowledge will vanish away

I thought I knew, I thought I was right
But it wasn't that simple at all
I fell as I fight, stand and fell again

I have spent half my life asking why
Why can't we just win?
I have been looking for the reason at every single thing that may know
I also asked God

But all these days was wasted
I never did found what I was looking for
Yet still I did not give up
Because hope said "try it one more time"

But fate was stronger
It never gave me the chance to know
Until I got tired of trying
And let go of the rope that I held for so long

I looked at my hands,
My palm was bruised and bleeding
Two hands held the rope instead of four
The rope that was held by fate at the other end

I let the fate take our chance
Not because I was weak
Or not because I was scared
But because I see myself all the way
I fought alone.
