escape and expressionA Poem by ashima
Escape and expression Silent i have lived for ages For ages the silence has won In this monotonous abyss it has strewn Winged it is but not to fly Clawed it is but not to fight Silent I have lived for ages For ages the silence has won Infatuated with its own placidity Perforated with its own arrows Yet enamored by the pain One day there was commotion In the ambit of
silence There it lay, the perpetrator A word butchered and beaten Yet powerful enough to break the spell It was then the placid began to dance soulful with
sound Speech pounced over deceptive infatuation Rationality grew to perforate the cause of its wounds Felt pain then too i but one of struggle To silence the silence that has lived for ages Uprooting the monotony with its blaze It came as a dazzling breeze Embarking flight to the wings that were meant to fly Instilling the claws to strangle and smother The silence that has lived for ages © 2012 ashimaAuthor's Note
