Chasing some

who wont slow down

or take the time

to turn around

don't keep running

after a person

your hurt feelings

will only worsen

don't call out

they'll pretend they can't hear

but truth be told

they just don't care

don't keep wishing

 for what is gone

although it may

seem all wrong

and even if sometimes

they turn around and smile back

don't be a fool and keep running
