Bones of Reflection

Bones of Reflection

A Poem by Ashley Rachelle
"

This is just a poem about people and the emotions they feel when uncomfortable in their skin. Its not real detailed, but you can still see some interesting metaphores

"
My reflection shatters
As the raindrops fall
From the clouds disguised as eyes.
The glassy blur
Is foggy
The sharp lines of a figure melt together.
What I see is not the same
Everyday something changes
Something worse.
Perfection is unrealistic
In this shadow
In my mirror.
The wish to be invisible
Always lingers
Never can I disappear.
I have no disease
Nor am I alone
I wish, I wish
I could be confident in my bones.
