Bones of ReflectionA Poem by Ashley RachelleThis is just a poem about people and the emotions they feel when uncomfortable in their skin. Its not real detailed, but you can still see some interesting metaphores
My reflection shatters
As the raindrops fall From the clouds disguised as eyes. The glassy blur Is foggy The sharp lines of a figure melt together. What I see is not the same Everyday something changes Something worse. Perfection is unrealistic In this shadow In my mirror. The wish to be invisible Always lingers Never can I disappear. I have no disease Nor am I alone I wish, I wish I could be confident in my bones.
