i lose myself a little there..A Poem by Ashesh..Ugly clouds clutter seeping blood out of golden rays Fill up hazel eyes with oblivious reverie Kaleidoscope of unrealized dreams run one after another And I lose myself a little there to that obscure sky
Loads of gratitude lugged upon calls for favors in return With scraps of hoax they condition mind Yet you pursue to find the missing piece of the whole lie And I tire a little there with cumbersomeness
Give a man something to believe in and worth living for Not brattling gibberish like pebbles inside empty jar Such that contravening thoughts bottleneck And I lose myself a little there in that noise
They hark on rain to inhibit your smoke When you try to burn everything and what each stands for Lacerated you hold up on pedestal as they applaud Silently I atone for their sins and pray for curtains to fall
Across harrows dug by mankind a sad breeze blows Whistling the last words of a dying It takes the crimson off the smile And I wither a little there and left forlorn © 2012 Ashesh |
