Troubled WavesA Poem by Ashesha tired cliff which surrendered itself to those ruthless wavesWaves crashed into me, The ebbs took away what purity I had, I became spectator to those wishes, That got washed away in the sea of struggle, Now those waves return, Carrying the ashes of my dreams, Still I stand there consoling, There was nothing more I could have done, I submit myself, To those waves again, This time with no intention to restrain, Or to fight back, I wish it hits harder, And sweeps me away with those ashes, Without them I am just a dead man walking… © 2011 AsheshFeatured Review
