Miserable MeA Poem by AsheshSetback. This is not
my life, Not how I
supposed it would be. I seek
happiness on a bottle of Vodka I wobble
and stumble along the roadside I dodge my
pain from the people around, And struggle
to arrest this bloody heart of mine This is not
my life, Not how I
supposed it would be. I swam too
far in water and something is pulling me down I can only
see those wild flowers on hills far behind I am tired
of pretending as if nothing has happened to me My corroded
pride now cannot hold me upright This is not
my life, Not how I
supposed it would be. I count my
breath alone in the dark My feet are
cold and my body curls for the warmth This is not
my life, Not how I
supposed it would be. © 2010 AsheshAuthor's Note
