Falling Down

Faces within the crowd
Alone amongst the masses
Looking for an escape route
Losing my mind in this mess
I've got little left to lose
No one can save me now
Gripping on to the edge

Dreaming of a better place
One where the dark is but a myth
Wandering aimlessly through my days
Nothing left to stop my fall 

nor to catch me at the end
