Dedicated to my friend. Thank you for being such a great role model for me. You represent everything I wish I could be but I let fear hold me back from being. Since I've met you I've broken free.

You are my savior 

Letting me flourish 

Your words pull me in 

Back to safety 

A smile which cannot be contained 

Possessed only by you 

Lights up my face

Building me back up 

With you the weight is gone 

You represent my desires 

A desire for a freedom

Never let your mind cloud your judgement. I enjoyed your poem. You could shorten the dedication a little. There are a lot of I's. In your dedication, try this example:" You represent everything I wish to be, fear, and what holds me back from being.
