A million ways to go

This poem I wrote a couple years ago as a part of an English assignment. It represents a more hopeful and happy time for me before the evil in this world really hit.

The world’s shining bright 

It fills me with delight 

A million wishes I could make 

I’m awake 

A million paths I could take 

The worlds just beginning 

I cannot stop grinning 

I’ve learned a lot 

And i’m only just a teen 

Who would’ve thought I’m feeling like a queen
