Beacon of Hope

A poem for all those people who stand up for what they believe in them.

A blackness has taken over

Light once shone through

Now it's been banished

Leaving us lost

Leaving us confused

Those who break free

They're our beacon to sanctuary

Lighting the path to greatness

  

Our lights are being blown away

The pathway is being hidden

So close yet so far

To breaking free one day

To reach the promise land

Where light rules the darkness 

All we need is you

And your passion to believe
