Childlike Faith

Childlike Faith

A Poem by Ashley

There is a land, in a far away place
That flows with love, and peace and grace.
Two little children, with happy hearts and faces
Find that this is the funnest of places.
Mom and Dad, hearts burdened with care,
Tell their children, "It isn't fair.
Don't ask God to play today
In your trivial, meaningless, frivolous way."
God does many important things
Much more important than fun and games.
But God who created the far away land,
The two little children and Mom and Dad,
Said, "Suffer the little children come unto me,
I'll  hold them in my arms and join in their glee."
