Mr.Magoose

Inspired by my 3yr old,Sophie Rose

Mr.MaGoose the Moose

Mr.Magoose was a moose

He lived beside a goose

Who’s name was Ms. Bruce 

They liked to drink carrot juice 

And eat lettuce that is loose

One day Mr.Magoose the moose 

Told Ms.Bruce the goose

How he loved yellow spruce

Ms.Bruce the goose decided she didn’t like yellow spruce 

This made Mr.Magoose sad and he no longer shared his carrot juice.

Ms.Bruce believed that was just abuse

So Ms.Bruce found a new friend named Ms.Vanhosse

Who liked to drink tomato juice 

And chew on chocolate mousse

Mr.Magoose saw how much fun Ms.Bruce and Ms.Vanhosse were having so he decided

To throw a party in honor of Ms.Bruce the goose.

Mr.Magoose found all Ms.Bruce’s  favorite things…

White Spruce

Tomato Juice

Chocolate Mousse

Carrot Juice

There was no excuse for Ms.Bruce to not make truce with Mr.Magoose.

There was a moose 

and a goose 

who lived with Mrs.Vanhoose

Absolutely delightful…especially since I'm of an age that I remember both Mr. McGoo and Bullwinkle the Bull in the Rocky Show…I read the entire poem with a smile on my face…
very original and enjoyable…
perfect for a kids book…illustrated of course….
