Nonsense

Nonsense

A Poem by Ashley Amigoni

He's tradeable for one more night with your intoxicated lack of hesitation.  I would wrap my arms around your back, let you sleep upon my chest...chest-to-chest...again.

I'd take it all back and tell you protective lies if I thought, for even one second, one breath, it would make me better for you.  If I thought you could love me, my face.

I would take it all back and just live outside your place.  I'd visit and just be a different kind of friend.

But he's tradeable for you.  I'd quit and be the same.  But I'm a girl you cannot love without intoxication.  Without intoxication, I'm poison.  Pretend you're here to save me again and I'll break our bonds.  I won't make a trade.  Just tell me no more lies.  Say I cannot be better for you.  Intolerable and officially crazy I must seem.  I'm not another pretty face on fire for your free and favorite flames.

But I'd still take it all back for just one more before I break it all off and try no more.

A gutsy look at loves dying moments. I commend your unique perspective. Don't want it to end but who does... i guess that is why love is a real pain in the........
