Darkness

A small insight to how I feel on a daily basis.

A light as bright as the sun

could never penetrate

the darkness I feel

growing slowly inside.

My demons are at war

with my conscience and

it feels as if the

conflict will never end.

My past is catching

up to me, but I stopped

running a long,

long, time ago.

I hope one day

to defeat the darkness,

destroy my demons, and

finally find true happiness

But for now,

I'll keep evading

the darkness and keep

my demons hidden deep inside
