Don't Say A Word

Don't Say A Word

A Poem by asempiresburn

So I swore to you we'd last forever

I even wrote you letter after letter

But I'm still breathing in your name

Your voice still flowing throughout my veins

So I thought I'd set your heart on fire

Because mine is still burning with desire

Don't say a word, I'll never let go

Tell me a secret I already know

We came together, but we fell apart

I’m dying to tell you, you're always in my heart

Far from the sea, deep in my heart

There rings out an echo alone in the dark

Don't fade away I know you won't go

I'm searching for answers we should never know

Tell me you love me, bring me to life

Tell me a secret, hearts burning bright

Wherever you go, whatever you do

No one will love you the way I do

Promise me you'll always be the one
