Important questions that need answers! I love the first stanza. I'd hate to bring gender roles into the mix but when a man can look at a woman and see a future with her, he sees something so special in her that he would trade his freedom as a bachelor for it. I feel like it implies so much that maybe it overpowers the two following stanzas. Maybe you could try to re-arrange them or find equally powerful stanzas? But that's just a suggestion based on my personal interpretation. I may be completely wrong!! It is a great piece already, and I feel like it asks questions that everyone does at some point!
