This poem is about my brothers

Missing you

Is not just your absence

It’s the longing of your presence

I’d want to say goodnight to you

I’d set the table not for 3 but 4

I’d help mom make dinner for you

I’d be waiting for u after school

Missing you

Is not having u around me

It’s you being there for me when I need you

It’s looking out of the window looking at… nothing

When I need u most

When I can’t bare it anymore

Your not there

My eyes fill with tears

But

Not a tear drops

Because I know it’s not going to help

It’ll just make things worse

It’ll make me realize your actually not there

But

Somewhere else

Missing you

It’s so hard

I think about u so often

Even when I take a test

Missing you is the hardest thing ever

I can’t bare it anymore
