Doorway

Doorway

A Poem by Madeline
"

its lowkey creepy but thats calm :/

"

The moonlight

It drips from her hair
like blood

Unto the floorboards beneath her deadened feet
Standing in the doorway
And oh she's haunting back lit
Her skin more silver than pink

Her fingers ten ruby beetles resting on linen

So long and thin

Skeletal

Choking

When she speaks it doesn’t need to make sense

She has your attention

and that's all the needs
