Don't judge meA Poem by EnderMy point, is how you will feel persecution's domination.
Don't you dare judge me;
- you would have done the same, if the gun was pointed behind your back? - - Don't judge me! Surrender to breathe another breath or resist the inevitable defeat; - my nerves ached and soon numbed over from - - barbed wire threats, the only way out was betrayal. I had no room for morality when I felt the knife in my hand; - that was ready to stab my brother's back. - - Though I felt not his pain I only felt my death, ten fold... Brain washed, not entirely true, I had all my thinking capacity; - but only my narcissistic delusion kept my self centered heart alive, - - to pump treasonous blood through my veins. So don't judge me, I did what I was told to survive. - Now I must live forever in a concentration camp, - - of prisoning skin, filled with shame. © 2011 Ender |
