Overtaking me

Overtaking me

A Poem by Ender
"

The main point is to be a fire. A brush burning fire, burning everything in it's path, but if it devours all what it has or is- there will be nothing more to live- but be reborn.

"

Burning with no let

down, forever

walking on clinging embers,

giving me a death dealing pain;

so I might gain some,

understanding?

Devour me all, while I

set myself ablaze,

to gain a fever inferno.

Spontaneous destruction

and annihilation wanting no

remaining reason to keep,

green rationality alive. All

must be in an irrational smolder.

I dare to recollect

but alas there is naught,

only smoke trails

Though this doom desire

took my former being: then

prove this my resurrection.

- Dust to dust and ashes to

- - proverbial ashes I will rise

again.
