I look at the MirrorA Poem by Azure Montessa (Blue)I see her... a very young woman smiling back at me. With dark brown eyes, mysterious and deep, she hides her monsters with secrets to keep. I look at the mirror and there I see the flaws on her face in morbid scrutiny. She believes her lie--she's nothing but a beast, with her heart intact to stay human at least. I look at the mirror and there I see someone with a name but without identity. She used to be sure, now she's lost in her way with nowhere to go, not even a place to stay. I look at the mirror and there I see the greatest of failures in world history. With sins and mistakes all piled up so high will one fervent prayer grant her mercy to die? I look at the mirror and there I see a shattered soul in poignant poetry. Adorned with applause, hailed as divine I pity the girl in her miserable shrine.
