My unfinished songs years ago

Here are some of the unfinished songs I remember composing years ago:

1. Do you remember? (at  13 years old)



My friend, do you remember
the times we had and spent together?
Wasn't it just like yesterday?


2. You and I (at 13 years old)



You and I aren't meant to be
Cause you don't love me but I'm blind to see
And that you only feeds my fantasy
And now...I am in my reality

Love gets weary and love gets blind
Love is unjust, rude, and unkind
Why is love so mean to me
But not how it used to be?

Why is it hard to admit the fact?
That "you and I" is just an act
(the rest is forgotten. haha)

3. A Moment Called Forever (at 13 years old)


And until my dying day
I won't regret to say
That I want us together
In a moment called forever...

Sometimes I really miss those days, so carefree without many worries. Of course at the time it didn't feel that way and for some reason when you are younger your emotions are soooo deep that the love feels like the best love and the hurt feels like the worst hurt. What this post tells me is that you have been talented for quite a while and say what you feel very nicely.

Hello Kindred Spirit. I see you've been writing lyrics from an early age, like myself. Of some of what I can remember only pieces of include a song I wrote: "Knights in Blue - Satin sheets and golden blinds. Knights in blue - I was hoping that I might find My spark in you, My knight in blue."

I have watched the video, and it was cool!!! Way beyond cool and brilliant! You have a real talent, not to mention great voice, too. The music is excellent (I don't know the appropriate words to say. haha) it's quite catchy and I found my foot tapping to the rhythm. You simply wow-ed me and I'm honored for your sharing the piece with me. I don't know how to play guitar bur I'd like to figure out soon. And maybe I can use what I have learned in my compositions. Again, thanks a lot!! :)

Wow, you really had a good writers talent at 13! I'm impressed :) I love them all and think you have a wonderful start on the ones you don't have much written on. Great topics and great expression of words. I'd say the last one "Like An Angel" would have to be my favorite because I can really relate to being so captivated by someone I barely know. They have such amazing things and we take notice in those, perhaps those certain things that most people wouldn't care to notice. We inspect them, investigate them, take them slowly apart with each spotting of them, if anywhere. If you wanted some help with getting more worked on for the first few songs you don't have much on you posted on this one, I would be more than happy to help you out sometime :)

An interesting compilation. I write songs too (some of them are posted on You Tube) in addition to poetry. I no longer sing any of my earliest songs (the first 20 or so that I wrote) as I no longer consider them to be very good. But certain lines could be kept and incorporated into new works. I have a notebook with various fragments written down...ones that I might use ( in either poems or songs) one day.
