Maybe....maybe not.. Thanks for this lovely review..
This is one of the best poems I’ve read that’s a tribute to some group of people. And no group deserves accolades more than teachers! Their jobs are difficult, they give so much of themselves with so little pay, & they don’t have the materials they need, so they buy from their own pockets, to keep their classrooms prepared. It’s horrible, what’s happening to teachers. In the USA, many groups of teachers have been protesting & they are successful – not only getting higher pay, but also a bigger investment in the kids, so that they don’t have a class of 40 with only 25 torn-up books to go around. It’s a disgrace, but the teachers are fighting for a better way & I’m so proud of them. Your poem includes a dozen different ways to compare teachers to all the best things in life. Good use of analogy thru-out, showing instead of telling, by creating good examples. Excellent job! (((HUGS)))Fondly, Margie
Wonderful to have that affect on another and another having that affect on you that you have a deeper connection and trust leading to unity of two functioning as one- true love and partnership depends on two as one in all areas- sharing, caring, loving- without eachother the one part is missing- great words🌹
