Ye kahani hai ek bhakti ki,

Ye kahani hai devi sakti ki.

Jab aashmaa kaala tha,

Jab charo or andhiyara tha.

Tab aaya ek maha asura,

Naam tha uska mahisasura.

Paakar vardan ek aisa devo se,

Nahi maar sakta tha koi dev usse.

Jab sab astra khatm ho gaye,

Jab sab sastra asafal rahe.

Tab devo ne ki aaradhna aur veenty,

Tab jaakar utpan hui ek aasi naari sakti.

Jise das devo ne apna astra diya,

Jise devo ne naam maa durga diya.

Jiske das bhujaoo me astra thy,

Laal-laal vastra thy.

Hantho me trisool lekar,

Chali maa sher par savar hokar..

Karne annt maha asura ka,

Daal trisool seene me uske,

Kiya annt mahisasura ka….

Hui burai par aachai ki vijay,

Gunj utha bramand me “MAA SHERAWALI KI JAY”
