Let Me In

Let Me In

A Poem by Amanda Rena

Let Me In

I let you in. You push me away.

Why can't you ever stay?

Break through the walls of my lonely heart

When the conquest succeeds, things fall apart.

I let you in. You push me away.

Frustration permeates my very soul

For the situation is beyond my control.

What's the point. anyway

to pursue someone then walk away.

I let you in, you push me away.
