The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Amanda Rena

Shattered with the storm by her mother's wing

and when the rasping wind ripped her away

in slithered the world and they had a "fling"

Tormented sentient thoughts filled her mind

unconditional love shifted to pain

torn between the love of two intertwined

Now she is searching to find her own way

the lumbering burden on her soul ceased-

only flashes remaining of that sinister day.

Not sure it's so sinister course I didn't have to live through it. Beautifully written with an emotional overload. And think, you weren't sure you could do this....

Amazing.
