![]() MomentsA Poem by Adelia Alighieri![]() At some certain times in our lives, we become the world's luckiest and the happiest person. But then those beautiful moments, just vanish away like they were never here.![]() At some uncertain moments, Of a very uncertain happiness, Some things become vividly unexplicable, And so very hard to confess.
And before the past could be understood, The present turns into dust, And in seconds the trees lose their leaves, And even iron starts to rust.
But those uncertain moments of happiness, Remain always, protected, And like an unbreakable bond, They inseparably remain connected.
And then still at times, When those uncertain moments are told to others, Nothing seems as if it were true, And nothing ever even bothers.
At times, unfortunately when these moments of happiness are forgotten, We seem to lose our imagination, our memory, And now that I already regret it, There isn't, a slightest chance of recovery. © 2009 Adelia AlighieriAuthor's Note
