My Beloved's LullabyA Poem by MOMandWIFEistheLIFEThis poem could be meant for either a child or lovers. The choice is yours. I wrote it for my husband when he was on a long road trip and his truck broke down and he slept in it until his mother's friend arrived to help. I didn't want him to feel alone.
MY BELOVED’S LULLABY Close your eyes, my beloved one. Your day of duties now is done. Lay your head upon my chest, for now it’s time for peace and rest. Let your dreams flow with love and grace as you relax in my embrace. While you sleep this quiet night, I wrap my arms around you tight. And as you sleep, you smile and sigh while I sing you a lullaby. Sleep well, my beloved one, your day of weariness is done. © 2008 MOMandWIFEistheLIFEAuthor's Note
