Peace, Love and Adamite

Drowning in misery,

Stumbling along,

A Namib desert,

Forsaken and dry.

Reeling mind,

Replaying the day,

Slander spreading,

Ducts breeding tears.

Walking and wandering,

Nowhere to go,

Sauntering aimlessly,

Lost in poor perception.

Tripping suddenly on rock piled high,

Randomly placed for my own humiliation.

Rubble in hand,

Brimming with rage,

Ready to launch

Crost’ this desolate place.

Sound reaching ears,

A crumple of paper.

Beneath assumed rock,

A letter is bound.

Name atop this parchment I find...

Interest brimming... separating pair.

Eyes open wide, skimming the page.

Curiosity engaged, I thoroughly read.

Sweet Dalon, you’re here.

You’ve found us at last.

The wind whispered to us

That you’d arrive someday.

We patiently waited for our paths to cross.

We felt your agony grow closer each day.

We hope we can offer

A symbol of hope.

We represent joy,

Spirit and guidance.

We appear to be rock,

Nothing more than debris,

But in fact, we’re a stone,

A gem to be precise.

They call us Adamite,

A symbol of alignment.

We can stimulate your mind

And physical well being.

We’ll awaken your heart

To the beauty of life,

And align the chakras

Of the solar plexus.

We come to help, my friend,

So take us in your hand.

Place one in your pocket,

And another in your bag.

Keep us with you through trouble,

And remember us through triumph.

If you choose to keep us,

Your existence will grow.

So give us a chance.

Simply reach out...And take us.

Peace, Love and Adamite.

Adamite meaning

Adamite is a stone of joy, creativity, enthusiasm. It aligns the heart and solar plexus chakras, stimulating both mental and physical well being.

Adamite evolves the spirit

Some uses of Adamite are:

  • Open the heart to communication with angels, spirit guides and those who have passed on

  • Awaken the joy of the inner child

  • Shield from psychic attacks, or other negativity

  • Stimulate creativity

  • Expression of playful spirit

Sources of Adamite

Adamite is mostly found in Mexico and Namibia.

An illustrative poem of the way we relate to the stones and rocks of creation. It makes for a feel and belonging.

I like how this poetry is also instructive, the use of Adamite was previously unknown to me and i'm intrigued to find out more, the poem is beautiful taking us across this desert lost and alone until sweet fate intervene's to bring us to the magical properties and saviour that is Adamite, a great story/poem Briana :)

Poetically educating and totally enjoyable. I had read this poem when it was first posted and I remember my amazement on gaining the knowledge about something new like adamite and my wonder if it really had such power. This time, I was amazed by the creativity of the piece itself and it's clarity as well. It's already great but if you wanted to make it even better you could do some changing in the order of words in some lines to make it flow even better. It's nicely spun out of fact and fiction and imagination. A real delight to read.

Hmm I thought this was a refreshing narrative. I had heard of the gem prior, but I've never heard the range of its uses as you outlined here. If I'm not mistaken you wrote a poem some time ago about another gemstone. You seem to love your stones...but dont worry we all like to get stoned :) I like it. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed it Briana and the insight about Adamite: It sounds like we all wander this crazy world and the character was destined to find guidance at a low point. This poem is relateable to everyone. A journey lost and lonely desolations and our spirit is guided. I like the prose; the help from spirit guides...It's fun, inspiring, uplifting and hopeful. I'm wishing right now it's waiting for everyone to stumble upon and I do in some ways; we just have to find our destiny. No? Thank you very much. Dale
