Yesterday is gone

Yesterday has passed

Passed now unto Today

Passed fast by… moved on

On wings away

on clouds ever out

Out of time, out of mind;

out of place, out of space

space to live life

space to hide and die

Die a million times.

Die infinitely more

More pain to acquire

More blood to be shed

Shed in hate

Shed for dogma

Dogma  true without question

dogma no room for suggestion

Suggestion: just follow

Suggestion: stay hollow

Hollow words, empty talk

hollow halls none shall speak

Speak to me not of hatred yesterday

Speak to me of compassion today

Today, the moon says goodbye

Today, a new sun will rise

Rise to the call of the hope

Rise to the call and be transformed

Transformed our hearts and minds

Transformed all base desires

Desires to persuade the will within

Desires to conquer and prevail

Prevail we must, step by step

Prevail we will, this we pledge

Pledge our arms to the cause

Pledge to keep alive a flame

Flame dancing in beautiful glory

Flame rising hither and high

High hopes in the patriot's heart

High ideals written in blood

Blood shed upon the fields

Blood valiant and true

True to honor and to duty

True to what we knew

Knew of those times and the pain

Knew of all to lose, to gain

Gain! What gain?

Gain an experience, sufficient!

Sufficient

Wow this is so good. There are some parts that were a bit clustered, but I think that happens often with collaborations anyway. Despite that, the content and the diction is great. This is very touching to me. Very inspiring! Good job to everyone that participated in this masterpiece. :)
