Confections Of My Demise

A silly poem about a nigh mare I had once

Cylinder chocolate swelling in my throat,

Lusciously sweet confections will be my demise.

Gasping and gagging, tears raining down,

Thrashing and pleading for unpolluted air.

Eyes open wide from pressure upon my chest

Kingsley licks my face, butting me with his head

Breathing so effortless, it all becomes clear

The tootsie roll monster has visited me again

Note to myself:

No snacks before bed!

Wise words no sweets before bed!! Did you consider splitting it into stanzas and making it rhyme ?

I do see where some of the phrases can be split up, and I know that I could probably expand a bit, maybe even rhyme, but the thought was so random I just let it be. lol I might come back to it at a later time. Thank you for your review.

Lol. Well to be truthful before I fell asleep I was eating a bag of mini twix and then had a dream about it. I must've been making noise in my sleep, because my dog jumped on me to wake me up. lol I changed it to tootsie rolls cuz it sounded better. thank you for reading :D

lol the funny part is this is actually a true story. I woke up one night and ate some of the twix that I keep next to my bed. I fell asleep and dreamed the exact same situation, except this time I was choking. I must of been making noise or something because my dog jumped on me to wake me up. lol. I changed it to tootsie roll b/c it sounded better.
