Confections Of My DemiseA Poem by Briana O'ConnorA silly poem about a nigh mare I had onceCylinder chocolate swelling in my throat, Lusciously sweet confections will be my demise. Gasping and gagging, tears raining down, Thrashing and pleading for unpolluted air. Eyes open wide from pressure upon my chest Kingsley licks my face, butting me with his head Breathing so effortless, it all becomes clear The tootsie roll monster has visited me again Note to myself: No snacks before bed!
