I agree.
"Come join me in the journey.
Let us make this land pure.
For what is the creatures,
Is also yours."
We need to protect Mother nature. We need her more than she needs us. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
Coyote
What a fun challenge.
I like that the focus is more on you and your shovel (hardwork) and not on the evil that caused pollution.
In the penultimate line, should creatures be possessive plural?

How very skilfully, using the tools of imagery and personification (and a shovel), you evoke concern and beckon humanity to join in the cause. This is real great.
We preserve what we love and treasured the most. Environmental awareness might shed a light that we humans are not the only ones that lives in this planet....
I have been guilty of desecrating the land, but it has been many, many years since I have been so careless and stupid. Getting on the Internet was salvation to me. Everything was at your fingertips . . . literally. Where television was supposed to be a wonderful way to educate us the masses, it never worked out. The Internet does what television said they could do, but didn't, in spades. Besides it is a personal thing. We are attached to it by the keyboard and the modem.

woohoo computers saving the polluters! what a great campaign slogan :P Thank you for reading!
This one definitely speaks to my unabashed cynicism towards a lot of things...the central theme is the environment but the state of that can be traced directly back to human 'nature,' as ironic a phrase as one is likely to come across...the shovel becomes an almost ominous symbol, given how big one would have to be clean the up the ever-compounding mess we've made over the years, but there's hope in it too...maybe one person is all it takes to get it started, and on that note, I did take this as a hopeful piece in spite of that unabashed cynicism I was mentioning haha Powerful stuff...well-said and well-written :)

Enjoyed your passion! I recalled the dumbs in Vietnam where many Vietnamese gathered for whatever they could find. Poverty is really an obliteration of your poetic sense.
Trying to come back to writing! Curious to see who all is still here and what new adventures their are to join!
Creativity is my outlet, and I love learning and growing. Do not hesitate to be honest .. more..
