Alone

I did not know what I did wrong

He took me to places, I did not belong

He carved my heart open, and left me to bleed

But as soon as he left me, I only felt freed

I cried every hour, night and day

I changed my appearance, but my heart still felt grey

He didn't seem to care, when I felt down

And in my own tears, I started to drown

I knew I did not deserve his love,

And away it flew, as graceful a dove

I learned not to cry, when I see his face 

And everyday, the memories start to erase

this is not right, it was he who didn't deserve a smart, creative, and awesome girl like you
