Chapter Eight; Another Special Day

Chapter Eight; Another Special Day

A Chapter by Artsy11200

He woke up in his bed at home, a cup of water to his side. He drank the water and looked at his clock, “7:00? Jeez, I slept in.” He waltzed downstairs and smelt bacon and eggs. And he felt a lot better, he sat down at his table and instead of eggs and bacon, was handed breakfast pizza! “ANOTHER SPECIAL DAY?!?!” he thought.

He took small bites of the pizza and sipped his soda slowly. Again, it almost took 30 minutes to finish his food, but when he finished, he sat down on the couch, and was handed ANOTHER present! He slowly took off the bow and placed it to his side. He then ripped off the wrapping paper in a flash, he read the words Lego in big red letters. This time, the lego set was a dragon trainer set, and it connected to his other set!

He hugged his parents for a long time, and went upstairs to build his set. Ryan took out the scrapbook and placed the bow on the next page, and under it wrote, “First time two special days have happened in a year!” He then opened the lego box to find WAY more bags then he ha ever imagined. It took him three hours just to sort out the bricks!! When he finished sorting, Ryan looked at the instructions to start building. It took him the rest of the day just to finish half of it! It was really late now, too late to be building.

Both of his parents came up to kiss him goodnight. “Wow! That’s a big set,” said his father. “Yeah, It will take me all day tomorrow just to finish it!” Ryan replied. “Ok special guy, now get lots of sleep tonight,” said his mom. “I probably won’t!” He said laughing. She then squeezed his cheeks at tight as she could, and kissed him again.

They turned off the light and Ryan went to sleep. At 11:00 Ryan could sleep well, so he got up and turned on the T.V. It was the late night news, he was watching until the story panned to a news reporter at the vet. Ryan sat up in his bed, “Two children were volunteering and the vet’s office when a mysterious murderer, came in and shot two people. One, being an old woman did not survive, but a young girl named Lucy, miraculously survived.”
