When I get old

When I get old

A Poem by Artur

When I get old

When I get old?

I think it will never happen

because our age

is not on your face or body

our age

is not written in genes

or stars

I will never get old

because age is

in our mind

we could look old

have wrinkels around our smile

our body

might even refuse

to care about us anymore

but our mind

will stay always young

and

love can make us even

immortal

yes there is some grammar mistake here mate,

"When I get old?" is not a question. It should be,

"When will I get old?"

"When I get old" is a statement.

After all, this is something and refreshing I like to ponder in,

"our age
is not written in genes
or stars"

Thanks mate.

This is so true: I once had an English teacher aged 21, but going on 80...
You'e only as old as your mind ...
My dad is 81 ... but is an eternal joker, telling people he's just turned 18 ;)
