Loud

Loud

A Poem by Artmusicwords
"

Driving home way too fast, spurned by a beautiful girl, feeling invisible...

"

Nothing

Nothing

Nothing

There is only

Hope

and

Disappointment

and

Loneliness

and

Loud

Music

Loud music

Loud music

Loud music

and

More nothing

but

There is always

Loud music

Loud

Alpine

Infinity

Volume

Car stereo

Louder than ever

Louder than ever before

Turned up the music

Just as loud as it could go

Blew out the speakers

In my own radio

Sorry, Eddie

It was mine

Not Rosanna’s daddy’s

But I was shakin’

Loud

and

then

Quiet

At the end of the night

Nothing

Nothing

Nothing
