You've told us just enough that I want to know more, but also I don't because I like that there's two mostly ambiguous characters that could be from a fantasy book or just normal people and metaphors (analogy, I don't think either of those are the right word but hopefully it makes sense regardless).
I really enjoyed the language you used here. It was whimsical and just the tiniest bit sad, but also hopeful and adventurous. Thank you for sharing this with us.
