Love is gone, I stand alone

if you see, the end is near

Love is gone and now it's past

I now moan, for love to last

Such true feeling to forget

it is hard for us to set

Love is gone and hate awaits

I can relate, I’ve been there, I was involved for six years and one day realty set in and it was gone I knew this was coming but I kept my self in denial even after it was over I thought there was still a chance.
For such a short piece it said a lot.
