In the world of SW there has never been such a thing as lightning or weather to speak off, only day and night, This was till Niamh the dark God of old decided to make his minions more powerful. Creepers getting hit by the lightning were supercharged this was a powerful new weapon against the templars, whom very essence was being tested in these brute times. Of course there isn’t only one god there are 3 and the god Slockna saw this “lightning” of Niamh and thought it was wrong. So he changed it too Niamh’s dislike, he added clouds and rain but not only that, he changed what the lightning did. Before Slockna intervened creepers where invincible being able to detonate the area around them without losing their lives and killing everything on site. Not only did he make it random so creepers don’t always get hit by it, he also changed what it did. Lightning now charges creepers for a bigger bang with more blast but they suicide again, pigs change mutate in a grotesque variant between zombie and pig, there for called pigzombies. Some unexpected things happened also to this “rain” Slockna created, it changed under certain conditions it became “snow”. Snow never seen before covers the ground in a white layer and contact with it feels like your freezing up or worse getting burned. The water that gets in contact with it “freezes” up and becomes ice. This drastically changed how warfare was being held, and for the first time in the Minecraft civilization actual combat tactics were considered upon the kind of weather they we’re receiving. Proc nor the Templars knew exactly what this was going to mean in the war, and none could have guessed how serious it was going to change the outcome but this is a story for another time my friends, until then.
