Flying

Flying

A Chapter by Luna

Even though your arms around me,
I feel as if I am hovering just above the floor,
Your arms the only thing holding me to the earth.

Your lips meet mine and I break away,
Drifting high into the sky
Even though your lips still remain on mine.

You pull away and I fall to the earth,
A hard hit on the dirt floor,
I look up and see your back.

You retreat and I bury myself into the dirt,
Wishing I was on a beach
So the ocean could carry me away.
