BrokenA Chapter by LunaOpen Heart, Insert Dagger
Watching them together,
They flirt, They laugh, They kiss. It hurts, Feels like a million daggers Stabbing my heart repeatedly. Do they know how much it hurts? Do they see that they are breaking me, Shattering my heart, My security, My mind, My life, Into thousands of tiny pieces? It is as if I am a clock And each flirtatious word takes out one gear, One cog, One band, Until I am an empty box, A shadow if what I used to be. I'll be their broken clock, The mouse they torture with putting cheese on the trap. Do they notice? © 2010 LunaReviews
