Missing You

Missing You

A Chapter by Luna

Sitting alone on the couch,
The fire burns before me.
I threw the pictures,
The letters,
The flowers,
Everything into the fire,
Trying to stop missing you.

Memories flash back,
Our first kiss,
Our first snuggle,
Our first night together.
Everything comes back,
Reminding me of the good times,
The bad times,
Everything.

Tears run down my face
As the fire burns brighter,
The items related to our love
Destroyed,
Gone forever.
The memories continue to play,
The sadness never leaving
And I continue missing you.
Not even the fire
Burned out my love.

A beautiful and sad poem. When we toss away a part of a life. Will brake our heart for a time. A excellent chapter.
