On A RoadA Poem by KAJ
On a road to somewhere north,
Love got lost along the way. Heading back to nowhere south, I stopped off somewhere to stay. Some place north but east from here. There I was able to rest. Not similar from up north. But not quite the same out west. My rest was somewhat restless. Something inside felt all wrong. With no sense of direction. This search will take way too long. Everyday I came up short. Thought I chose to not lose hope. Some roads were steep and narrow. Sometimes a slippery slope. Once I tried a gravel road. And stopped to read some sign. What I thought was a true love. Was my own heart I did find. The road is not important. Which direction is not the key. The journey is the answer. Allow your love to just be. On a road to somewhere north. I found love along the way. I am happy with myself. Forever this love will stay.
