Deep within a cavern a young woman stands on a rock. Her silvery fine blue hair wavers effortlessly as she melts into her surroundings. The magical fungi glowing a faint purple, countless mushrooms surround the land within the cavern. Crystals of all shapes and sizes, some jagged, some smooth. She steps off of the rock, creating a gentle thud as she lands elegantly. Gliding over to a crystal she places her hand on the beautiful surface, feeling its energy radiate through her body. Linked to a sense of nostalgia as her mind falls deep to when she was last here. She brings herself back to the moment, observing the place with her jarring crimson eyes. This doesn’t look like home anymore. Flowing over to a group of mushrooms she plucks one and holds it in her hand. As soon as the mushroom is cut from its roots it shrivels and ceases to emit the glow that envelopes the other fungi. Squeezing its crumpled skin, it cracks and purple ooze trickles down her hand. She draws symbols on her skin with this ooze and heads back towards the crystals. Now when she places her hand on the crystal the markings on her glow indefinitely. Take me back to my home. Where the people too would glow. I miss feeling like I belong. Everything is all too lost. Where did everything go? I want to return home. Visions begin to flash through her mind, causing her to squeal and shiver on the ground. Images of her kin being tortured, destroyed and ruined. The markings on her soft skin begin to burn holes in her flesh. Until she was nothing but a disintegrated mess. One day she will grow into a mushroom just like everyone else; cursed by the world to never be at rest.
