Is this the future

Is this the future

A Poem by Amila Jay
"

a poem i wrote in 2010

"
The latest trends of 2010
Is flushing new borns
down dirty drains
Say "to my son with love your mother"
And shove them into rivers
In their sleep to sleep forever
Mother's who filled their hands
With this sin
Why did you bore them into this world
If they are not allowed to breath
But don't say you were helpless
And wipe your crime on their face
And how do you yourself sleep?
With the help of a pill?

this a poem that I wrote in 2010 regarding all these cases where mothers dumped new borns and kids like dirt when they couldn't bear them anymore. Your comments are appreciated :)

It happen in all places. In the USA we have places where woman can take babies they do not want. Still they put them in trashcans and leave them to died in parks. I don't understand it. Always someone that will give love to a child. People who murder their babies will pay i believe for their deeds. A powerful and sad poem. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

Good poem about a tough subject. Here it is planned that mothers can either give birth in a hospital without revealing their names or give children up by putting them in a safe place at the entrance to the clinics.Theses mothers are often not monsters, but young girls in really bad situations. I think we have to be careful with judgements, but work to avoid such terrible events.
